Before you can create a deal, you'll need to:
To create a deal:
1. From the side menu, select Create Deal.
2. Enter the required details, selecting NEXT at the end of each section to save and continue.
Transaction Details
Lawyer File ID - Add the reference number you use within your firm
Transaction Type - Purchase and Sale, Sale Only, or Refinance
Lawyer Details
Lawyer - This can be any lawyer in your account, and can be changed while the deal is in progress to allow a lawyer to disburse on another's behalf.
Lawyer Trust Account - You can add or change this account in your Bank Information
Property Details
You can add additional properties, if needed, by selecting the +ADD ANOTHER PIN option.
Purchaser Details
If the deal is a purchase and sale, you can add one or more purchasers.
Vendor Details
If the deal is a purchase and sale, you can add one or more vendors.
Mortgagor Details
If the deal is a Refinance, you can add one or more mortgagors.
Review
3. To edit, select the completed branch in the tree view, or select EDIT next to the desired section.
4. Once you have reviewed the deal details, select CREATE DEAL.
The New Deal Created window displays.
Note: The Deal ID is applied by the system and can be used to search the deal.
5. You can continue with adding documents and disbursements by selecting GO TO DEAL, or return later by selecting GO TO DASHBOARD.
Note: If your deal doesn't appear in the dashboard, you can find it by filtering the results or searching for it.
